This year the Pet Porpoise Pool is celebrating forty years (26 December 2010) as a Rescue and Rehabilitation facility of marine animals.

From this, the vision of establishing a not for profit organisation specialising in rescue and rehabitation specifically for marine animals has seen the creation of Coffs Harbour Animal Rescue Trust. (C.H.A.R.T)
The objectives of CHART are to treat and rehabilitate marine wildlife, to monitor emerging disease and to support and participate in programs of conservation.
If you and/or your organisation would like to be involved in the protection of our precious marine life and habitats for future generations, then please join us and become a CHART supporter.
CHART receives financial support from The Pet Porpoise Pool to cover all costs of the Trust administration.
This means that 100% of every donation we receive can be applied directly to the conservation of marine life and habitats.
The benefits of being associated with CHART will be negotiated on a one on one basis to ensure that a sponsorship or donation package is tailored to suit both parties.
