School Education

Our Marine Ed-venture Education team are able to provide a hands-on, curriculum based program for primary and secondary school students either at the park or at schools.

We are happy to welcome all school groups to our multi-award winning park where they will be able to watch and participate in our educational Marine Magic presentation. For those schools who want to take their education experience further, we also deliever specialised education talks with our Marine Mammal Specialist and animals on request. All the lessons at the park are hands on with the animals and provide students with the opportunity to get up close to the animals and see for themselves some of the amazing adapations that the animals have developed to survive in the ocean enviroment.

For those regional schools or grades unable to visit us at the park, our Marine Ed-venture Education team also provides a school based education service, based around the learning outcomes of the new Australian national education curriculum (this program is for primary schools only). These school based lesson are only $4.50 per child and feature exclusive Pet Porpoise Pool video footage/ sound recordings and allow the handing of props such as skulls and teeth in order to acheive the projected learning outcomes.For more infomation on our Marine Ed-venture programs or curriculum based lesson plans for each grade, please contact our staff.
