Solitary Reefs

Solitary Reefs is the latest exhibit at the park, featuring a variety of marine species found within our local solitary islands marine park.

Solitary Reefs features two large aquariums themed around the Solitary Islands Marine Park which is found just off the Coffs Coast. The Solitary Islands Marine Park is uniquely located in the meeting point of warm tropical waters traveling south in the East Australian Current and cooler, nutrient rich water travelling north, giving this region an extremely high diversity of marien species.

Solitary Reefs displays numerous fish speceis that can be found within this unique marine park including important recreational fishing speceis such as Snapper, Yellowtail Kingfish and Mangrove Jack. The exhibit also features species of large cod, sharkss and marine turtles that have been taken into care through Dolphin Marine Magic's turtle rehabilitation program but have been unable to be released due to injury.

Underwater viewing is available into both aquariums, including a viewing corridor into the main aquarium, giving guests the chance to watch fish eye to eye as they swim past. Solitary Reefs is also the location of daily fish and shark feeding after each Marine Magic presentation.
